Guess what? Whole Foods Market, the cool grocery store that sells lots of healthy and organic food, is opening a brand-new store in the U.K. for the first time in over 10 years! The new store will be on King’s Road in Chelsea, London, and it’s opening on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. This is super exciting because it’s the first new Whole Foods store in the U.K. since 2014!
What’s So Special About the King’s Road Store?
The new store is going to be 21,800 square feet (that’s really big!) and will open at 9 a.m. on its first day. After that, it’ll be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
Here’s what you’ll find inside:
- New and exclusive products that you can only get at this store!
- Lots of local brands from London and all over England.
- Hot and salad bars where you can grab a quick, healthy meal.
- A pizzeria for yummy pizza lovers!
- A seafood counter with fresh, sustainable fish and seafood. They’ll even have fresh catches like Dover sole and Shetland scallops four days a week.
- Fresh fruits and veggies, including special herbs and lettuce grown in a way that uses 95% less water and no yucky pesticides or herbicides.
- A cheese section with amazing cheeses from local cheesemakers. There will even be cheese experts (called cheesemongers) to help you pick the perfect cheese!
- A meat counter where butchers will cut your steaks or chicken just how you like it. They’ll also have dry-aged beef and marinated meats.
- A grocery section with over 80 local brands and some exclusive products you won’t find anywhere else.
